By Car:From Boston, take I-93 North to I-95 North, or take I-95 North from the west. Keep left at exit 45 and follow Rt. 128 toward Gloucester. At exit 25A, take Rt. 114 East into Salem. Be sure to follow signs for Rte 114 as there are a few turns. Approximately one mile after entering Salem, you will cross an overpass after which you will exit right then turn right onto Rt. 107/Bridge St. Go straight through the light and take your second right, onto St Peter St. Go left at the stop sign onto Brown Street and (optionally) enter the parking garage. Alternatively, keep driving to the venue by following Bown Street to the common, turn left and follow the common (Washinton Sq North) until it meets Washington Sq East. Turn right and watch for the hall on your left. Parking is available around the common and on the side treets, and the meters operate until 5pm.
By Bus: From Boston, board the No. 450 or No. 455 bus at Haymarket Square. You can try the MBTA Trip Planner website to get train and bus routes within the Metro Boston area at (use “92 Washington Sq. East, Salem, MA ” as the destination address).
By Train: Take the MBTA Commuter Rail (Newburyport/Rockport line) from Boston’s North Station or other points, to Salem Station. (A three minute walk to Essex Street). Go up the steps to street level onto. walk east (turn left) on Bridge Street and cross over to St. Peters Street. Follow the car directiuons from here (consult the map). The walk is about ten to 15 minutes.
By Ferry: From Boston, board Salem Ferry at Central Wharf (New England Aquarium Whale Watch booth) for a relaxing 50-minute trip aboard a high-speed catamaran. Ferry docks at the Blaney Street Wharf on Salem’s historic waterfront-a short walk or pedi-cab ride to Essex Street. Eight round trips
